The Jericoacoara National Park is located in the municipalities of Jijoca de Jericoacoara, Cruz and Camocim, on the west coast of the state of Ceará, in Brazil.

The American newspaper The Washington Post chose it as one of the ten most beautiful beaches on the planet in 1994. Jericoacoara was also the setting for the Brazilian film A Ostra eo Vento, from 1997. There are no access roads in the last fifteen kilometers (the construction of roads within the environmental protection area is prohibited by law), therefore a 4x4 vehicle is required to reach the city.

To get to Jericoacoara buy your air ticket to Fortaleza International Airport or  Jericoacoara regional airport. Jericoacoara is also part of the Rota das Emoções (a special route that also includes the Parnaíba Delta and Lençóis Maranhenses).

The main attractions of Jericoacoara National Park are: Pedra Furada, Lagoa do Paraíso, Tree of Sloth, Buraco Azul, Tatajuba, Guriú, Mangue Seco, Sunset Dune, Lagoa Grande, Barrinha, Church of Santa Luzia, Lagoa de Jijoca, Ecological Ride of the Sea Horse, among others.
